Registration

The tournament is part of the FIR Racketlon World Tour 2024 and will take place as an IWT event. The entry deadline is the 12th of August, so make sure to enter this amazing event as soon as possible!

First singles category: 45€
Second singles category: 30€ (Seniors or Juniors)
All doubles and mixed categories: 15€ per person
First Timers: 35€ (do not need to pay for an FIR Players License)

The entry fee must be paid in cash at the tournament desk upon arrival. Note, that all players (except first timers) must have a valid FIR Player’s License in order to enter online. To avoid paying the License, first timers can register sending an email to racketmasters@racketlon-augsburg.de.

Venue

The tournament will be held at TBS Wünschig, which has 10 tennis courts (6 outdoor, 4 indoor), 5 squash courts, 10 badminton courts, a big wellness area with 3 saunas, a great restaurant and the possibility to play outdoor minigolf.

Playing Conditions

Table Tennis: Three courts for matches, Dunlop Fort Tournament balls (3 stars, R40+)
Badminton: Three courts for matches, Yang Yang 202 shuttles
Squash: Three courts for matches, Dunlop Pro balls (double yellow dot)
Tennis: Three courts for matches (outdoor on clay), Dunlop Pro Coach balls

Additional warm up courts are subject to availability. There will be a live stream for the final matches of Elite singles categories. Referees are available for all main round Elite singles matches, including 3rd place playoff. Tennis will be played outdoor on clay. In the case of rain it will be played indoor on carpet with granules. Please bring appropriate shoes for both scenarios!

Time Schedule

All the below times represent the earliest possible start times for first rounds per category and the latest finishing times per category.

Men A, B, C: Saturday 9am – Sunday 4pm
Women A,B: Saturday 9am – Sunday 4pm
Seniors and Juniors: Saturday 9am – Sunday 4pm
First Timers: Saturday 9am – 9pm (will be finished on Saturday)
All Mixed categories: Friday 9am – 4pm (will be finished on Friday)
All Doubles categories: Friday 12am – 10pm (will be finished on Friday)

Prize Money & Entry Fee Refund

The total prize money pool is 2000€ and will be split 70:30 between the singles & doubles Elite categories (with the split in accordance with FIR Tournament Regulations on prize money)
As a special feature of the tournament, no entry fee will be charged for top ranked Elite players:
- Men A – Elite: First 8 players on the entry list according to FIR World Ranking
- Women A – Elite: First 6 players on the entry list according to FIR World Ranking
- Men A – Elite Doubles: First 8 players on the entry list according to FIR World Ranking
- Women A – Elite Doubles: First 6 players on the entry list according to FIR World Ranking
- Mixed A – Elite Doubles: First 8 players on the entry list according to FIR World Ranking

Food & Entertainment

Restaurant: The venue has its own Italian restaurant – full service with reduced prices on all tournament days from 11:30am
Players dinner: Players dinner on saturday evening included for all players – one pizza of your choice free of charge
Players party: On Sunday after the last matches, we invite you to the Augsburger Plärrer, one of Bavarias biggest folk festivals (similar to the famous Oktoberfest in Munich), featuring traditional Bavarian music, food, and rides – consider planning your travels back home on Monday!

Sauna: The venue has a great wellness area with three saunas – can be used free of charge on all tournament days
Minigolf: Play minigolf outdoor until night due to floodlights – one free round at any time during the tournament included for all players
Wifi: Free access by connexion “Free Wifi“

Accommodation

There will be one official tournament hotel with reduced prices and a shuttle service. You can make use of the reduced prices by using the code „Racketlon24“ when making your reservation until 11th July at 6pm (after this date the prices can be higher and we can not guarantee available rooms):

The shuttle service will be available from and to the hotel on all tournaments days in the morning before the first matches and in the evening after last matches.

Travel

Augsburg is a beautiful city located in Bavaria, in the center of southern Germany. You can reach the city and the venue/hotel very easily by train. The nearest airport is Munich, an hour’s drive from Augsburg. More information about travelling details can be found here.
